What Goes Up Must Come Down!


What goes up, must come down.  That was one of the phrases that kept going thru my head this morning as I was doing a 3 mile run on the backroads at the Lake. The roads are very hilly, and as I chugged up the hills, feeling somewhat like the "Little Engine that Could" I just kept reminding myself that the hills I was running up, I would soon be running down on the way back.

I'm not traditionally a big fan of running, but I've been trying to add some new things to my workouts. As I was running today, I was really listening to my body - sure I was huffing and puffing, but did I really hurt? Could I really keep going?  I found that, while I was a bit uncomfortable, I was definitely not at my max. So I dug deeper and kept on going.

Also, knowing that I can bust throught an Insanity or P90X workout helps me to remind myself that I am STRONG!  I CAN do it!

In addition, I kept thinking of my friends who are runners, as well as the Beachbody community - and I felt inspired just knowing that so many other people are out there trying to be the best physically fit person they can be.
